CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Professor Birch draws until you have six cards in hand. This older presentation also states that only one Supporter can be played per turn and that the card stays beside the Active Pokémon before being discarded at turn's end. The number received depends on your current hand rather than being a fixed draw of six new cards.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The hand is not shuffled into the deck before drawing. You keep your existing cards and fill up to six; the Supporter's visible presence does not mean it is attached to the Active Pokémon.
