CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Floette flies over flower fields and cares for plants beginning to wilt. When the flowers in a well-tended bed open, it appears to celebrate their blooming with a dance. It also grows flowers whose power it draws on in battle. The Pokédex warns that it vigorously defends the places it tends against those who ravage them. Its dance and its attack thus arise from the same lasting bond with flowers.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon X describes Floette helping nearly wilted flowers. Pokémon Ultra Sun explains that a well-grown flower's strength can become its weapon. The care it gives its flower beds therefore also feeds its ability to protect them.
