CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Pidgeotto tirelessly patrols its territory's airspace in search of prey or intruders. Its talons are strong enough to carry an Exeggcute to a faraway nest. When another Pokémon enters its domain, it can dive at it and drive it away forcefully. Its endurance lets it maintain this watch for a long time. The Pokédex presents a hunter whose flight serves both to feed its group and guard a broad area.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon X states that Pidgeotto can carry an Exeggcute to a nest over a hundred kilometers away. Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu emphasizes its almost constant flight. Its stamina therefore serves a territory far larger than a single tree.
