This Metal Energy provides one unit of Metal Energy. When its bearer is itself Metal type, opposing attacks deal ten less damage after Weakness and Resistance. On a Pokémon of another type, the Energy remains a Metal resource, but its printed shield is ignored. The player must therefore distinguish the constant Energy contribution from conditional protection. A card with this name may have a different rule depending on its edition; this group includes only printings with this type condition.

A detail worth noticing
