The Pokémon’s story

Virizion moves through Unova’s stories as a defender of Pokémon. According to legend, it fought humans alongside Cobalion and Terrakion to protect its own kind. Its narrow horns resemble blades, and its speed lets it strike while whirling around an opponent. Where Cobalion imposes a leader’s calm, Virizion acts through momentum and precision. The Pokédex preserves both the memory of this shared battle and a concrete description of its weapons.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Shield compares Virizion’s speed with the wind and describes horns capable of piercing an enemy. Pokémon Sword links its battles with the defence of Unova’s Pokémon. In these entries, its blades are therefore more than a feature of its silhouette.
