CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Zeraora approaches at lightning speed, then strikes its target with electrically charged claws. Even dodging is not always enough: the scattered sparks can still shock its opponent. The entries bring its speed and electrical discharge together as a single movement, as though the attack continues after it has passed. Its battle therefore does not depend solely on direct contact from its claws.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

This Zeraora's first attack deals 30 damage, doubled when the opponent's Active Pokémon is an Evolution Pokémon. Its second deals 80 damage without an additional printed condition. The target's Evolution status is therefore decisive for the first hit, while the second keeps a fixed value.
