CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Musharna sleeps almost constantly and feeds on people's and Pokémon's dreams. Smoke emerging from its forehead takes the shape of objects seen in those dreams and changes color according to what it absorbed. Black smoke is said to signal a nightmare that might materialize; it is then best left alone. The Pokédex presents a sleeper whose consumed dreams become visible to observers.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon White says Musharna's smoke can depict dreamed objects. Pokémon Sword warns that black smoke accompanies a nightmare that may take shape. This cloud therefore shows the content of its meal and can signal danger.
