CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Mr. Rime moves with a tap dancer's ease. It swings an ice cane in rhythm with its steps and carefully performs gestures that may seem amusing. Yet the Pokédex states that psychic power emanates from the pattern on its belly. Its performance therefore combines an icy accessory, precise choreography, and a force not immediately visible. Its popularity comes from these movements, but its show also retains a combat dimension.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Sword emphasizes Mr. Rime's tap-dancing skill and ice cane. Pokémon Shield locates the release of its psychic power in the pattern on its belly: the cane is not the described source of this energy.
