Geweihtes Amulett

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Sacred Charm reduces damage to its holder by thirty when an attack comes from an opposing Pokémon with an Ability. The reduction occurs after Weakness and Resistance. Protection therefore depends on an attribute of the attacker rather than a general ban on using Abilities. The Tool does not state the same benefit against a Pokémon without one or heal existing damage.

A detail worth noticing

Sacred Charm checks whether the attacking Pokémon has an Ability. Its text does not require that Ability to have been used during the turn. The thirty-point reduction concerns attack damage after Weakness and Resistance have been calculated.
