CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Very little is known about Raging Bolt. Some say the electricity discharged from its fur could burn everything around it. It also resembles a Pokémon that a paranormal magazine described as an ancestor of Raikou. The Pokédex does not accept this claim as a proven fact. It places a reported power alongside a resemblance that sparked a rumor. Caution therefore remains necessary when describing this rarely documented Pokémon.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Scarlet presents the power of lightning drawn from Raging Bolt's fur as hearsay. Pokémon Violet notes its resemblance to a Pokémon described by a paranormal magazine as Raikou's ancestor, without confirming that identification.
