Beldum circulates magnetism where one would expect blood. This force also supports its exchanges with others through controlled pulses. Its metallic body has an inner life that does not follow ordinary reference points. Even its way of staying aloft depends on this relationship with magnetic forces, giving each of its movements a distinctive logic.

A detail worth noticing

Beldum sm2-83 deals 20 damage with one Metal Energy, then must discard a Metal Energy attached to it. Kyoko Umemoto illustrated this card. The expense therefore extends beyond the cost needed to declare the attack: an Energy also leaves the Pokémon after the hit.
