CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Avery begins by having you draw three cards. If you drew at least one card this way, your opponent discards Pokémon from their Bench until only three remain. The Supporter combines new resources with a possible reduction of the opposing field. The opponent performs this discard; the text does not let you choose which teammates they keep.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The Bench restriction imposed by Avery depends on a draw actually occurring. It targets the opponent's Bench without removing their Active Pokémon. The affected player discards Pokémon down to the stated number rather than letting you freely select them.
