CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Tate & Liza lets you choose between two effects: shuffle your hand into your deck and draw five cards, or switch your Active Pokémon with one of your Benched Pokémon. The Supporter can meet a need for refreshing or movement. It does not combine both results in a single use.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Choosing to switch Pokémon does not require shuffling your hand. Conversely, choosing the five cards does not then cause a switch: the two proposals are explicitly alternatives within this effect.
