CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Kabu refreshes your hand by shuffling it into the deck, then drawing four cards. If your Active Pokémon is your only Pokémon in play, you draw eight instead. The presence of a companion on the Bench is therefore enough to change this particular situation. The effect gives its greatest support to a team reduced to its sole fighter, without using Prize count as a condition.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Kabu's bonus depends on the number of Pokémon you have in play. Having a single Active Pokémon is not enough: it must also be your only Pokémon present, with no partner on your Bench.
