CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Koraidon resembles Cyclizar, but its body looks more robust and its temperament more ferocious. Its way of life remains poorly understood. An old expedition journal, however, mentions a “Winged King” that may correspond to it. This account credits it with splitting the land with its fists. The Pokédex does not present the story as an observed fact: between its present resemblance to Cyclizar and the old testimony, Koraidon retains a great deal of mystery.

A detail worth noticing

The name “Winged King” comes from an old expedition journal cited in Pokémon Scarlet. It is credited with blows capable of splitting the land. Pokémon Violet compares Koraidon with Cyclizar while acknowledging that its ecology remains unknown.
