CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Team Rocket's Transceiver searches for a Supporter with Team Rocket in its name. The player reveals that card, adds it to their hand, and shuffles the deck. The Item therefore prepares specific support, but its criterion concerns the Supporter's name. A card merely useful to a Pokémon from this team does not necessarily meet the condition.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Team Rocket's Transceiver combines two conditions: the searched card must be a Supporter and have Team Rocket in its name. An Item from this team does not become eligible simply because it shares that designation.
