CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Vitality Band adds ten damage to attacks made by the Pokémon holding it against your opponent's Active Pokémon. The extra damage is applied before Weakness and Resistance. The effect does not require a particular holder type or special defender category; its scope is defined by the holder's attacks and their opposing Active target.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The bonus does not apply to damage directed at Benched Pokémon. The text targets your opponent's Active Pokémon and describes no increase to damage counters placed by an Ability or another effect.

Printed card effect
