CARDEX BACKGROUND
Florges inhabits flower gardens and absorbs energy released by flowering plants. It can live for hundreds of years, devoting a long life to cultivating and protecting these places. Castle owners once entrusted it with creating their gardens. If an enemy threatens its flowers, it can command their petals and unleash a storm as beautiful as it is dangerous. The Pokédex shows a patient gardener whose territory can become a weapon.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Y reports that old castle owners entrusted their gardens to Florges. Pokémon Ultra Moon credits it with centuries of life devoted to flowers. This guardian's patience therefore far exceeds the lifespan of an ordinary human garden.
