CARDEX BACKGROUND

The role of this Energy

Retro Energy provides Colorless Energy. When you play it from your hand onto one of your Evolved Pokémon, you may remove up to two damage counters and discard its top card, which counts as devolving it. The card offers healing linked to moving back an Evolution stage rather than healing alone on any chosen holder.

Background on this Special Energy’s effect; the printed text, edition and finish of each card remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The removed Evolution card is discarded rather than returned to your hand. The optional effect requires an Evolved Pokémon at the time of attachment from the hand; it does not describe devolving all your Pokémon.
