CARDEX BACKGROUND
Torchic follows its Trainer with still-hesitant steps. Its down and body warmth give this small companion a comforting presence. Yet the fire it keeps inside can also burst out in scorching balls. Its whole character lies in this closeness between apparent fragility and power: the Pokémon seeking to stay beside someone already has the means to defend itself.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Torchic xy5-26's Ancient Trait lets it attack twice in the same turn. Its first attack discards a Fire Energy from the hand to draw two cards; Scratch deals 20 damage but fails on tails. 5ban Graphics illustrated this printing, where the number of possible attacks does not guarantee success.
