The Pokémon’s story

Blissey senses the sadness of nearby beings through its fur. When it encounters an unhappy person or a weakened Pokémon, it brings an egg and may stay to care for them. Pokédex accounts attribute a soothing effect on mood to these eggs. Its compassion therefore goes beyond a simple visit: it shares what it produces and sometimes accompanies the sick until they recover.
