CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Cyclizar has carried humans on its back for a very long time. Paintings ten thousand years old already show this practice, according to the Pokédex. It can run at over a hundred and ten kilometers an hour while carrying a person. The passenger's body heat warms its back and seems to please it. This relationship is therefore not described as a recent practice: it spans centuries and combines Cyclizar's speed with contact it enjoys.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Scarlet mentions wall paintings 10,000 years old that already show humans riding Cyclizar. Pokémon Violet credits it with a speed of over 70 miles per hour, or about 113 km/h, even with a passenger.
