CARDEX BACKGROUND

About this Pokémon form

Mega Evolution turns Manectric into a Pokémon whose sudden acceleration is compared with lightning speed. In Pokémon X and Y, the transformation improves its capabilities overall. Its Intimidate Ability also lowers the opponent's Attack: its presence in battle therefore combines impressive mobility with a way to weaken enemy blows.

Background on this form in the video games; this card’s attacks, edition and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon X and Y divide the requirements for this Mega Evolution in an unusual way. Electrike, which evolves into Manectric, can be caught in Pokémon Y; the Manectite needed for the transformation is found only in Pokémon X. The two versions therefore provide complementary elements.
