CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

The more sunlight Capsakid receives, the more its body produces the substances making its attacks hot and spicy. This heat has also left a mark on Paldean cooking. The Pokédex says its shed front teeth feature in very spicy traditional dishes. The same property therefore connects life in the sun with human recipes: it strengthens Capsakid's abilities as it grows and gives character to certain foods.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Scarlet connects sunlight with production of spicy substances in Capsakid's body. Pokémon Violet gives its fallen front teeth an unexpected use: they feature in traditional Paldean dishes known for being very spicy.
