CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Grusha fills your hand to five cards, or seven if none of your Pokémon has Energy attached. The condition concerns your entire field, not just the active fighter. This support thus becomes more generous when the whole team lacks Energy attachments. Cards already present remain in hand and count toward the total to reach after drawing.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

To reach seven with Grusha, no Pokémon on your side may have attached Energy. A Benched companion is therefore enough to prevent this condition if it carries any. Seven represents the target hand size, not seven extra cards.
