The Pokémon’s story
Klinklang spins its gears to charge a red core with energy. It can then release this reserve through the spikes on its outer structure as powerful discharges. The new spiked gear is not independently alive; the others set it in motion. The Pokédex thus distinguishes the core storing energy from the spikes releasing it, and the active gears from the component they drive.
