CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Rocky Helmet retaliates when its holder is your Active Pokémon and takes damage from an opponent's attack. Two damage counters are then placed on the attacking Pokémon. This can still trigger if your Pokémon is Knocked Out by the attack. The Tool turns damage received in battle into a consequence for the attacker, with a clearly stated positioning requirement.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Rocky Helmet must be attached to your Active Pokémon for this effect to trigger. Its holder being Knocked Out does not itself cancel the retaliation, since the text explicitly allows it. Two damage counters are placed on the attacker concerned.
