CARDEX BACKGROUND
Eevee carries several possible futures within a single small body. Its unstable genetic makeup opens the way to different evolutions, making it a subject of study for researchers in the Pokémon world. Looking at Eevee means encountering potential that has yet to take shape. Its small size contrasts with the scale of that promise: a shared origin can lead to very different forms of life.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Ultra Moon takes the influence of Eevee's surroundings a step further: its entry says that its face may eventually resemble its Trainer's. This trait is attributed to genes that respond to the environment, extending beyond its different evolutions.
Quoted source text is retained in the card’s printed language so this exact printing can be identified. The CarDex background above is translated into English.
