CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Colress's Experiment lets you look at the top five cards of your deck. The player chooses three for their hand and puts the other two in the Lost Zone. This selection therefore offers several known resources but requires immediately separating those retained from those leaving this circulation. Rejected cards are neither shuffled into the deck nor sent to the discard pile.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Cards rejected by Colress's Experiment go to the Lost Zone, a destination distinct from the discard pile. The effect requires keeping three of the five viewed cards; the others therefore do not remain available on top of the deck.
