CARDEX BACKGROUND

About this Pokémon form

Galarica seeds are among Slowpoke's favorite foods in Galar. This local plant also supplies a popular cooking spice. Through consuming it generation after generation, the Pokémon began producing spicy particles themselves, eventually acquiring their regional appearance. Yet they remain true to their peaceful habits, lying beside rivers or on beaches with an almost permanently absent-minded expression.

Background on this form in the video games; this card’s attacks, edition and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Galarian Slowpoke's sudden changes of expression are thought to be linked to Galarica accumulated in its brain. It supposedly concentrates intensely on an idea, then forgets it almost immediately and returns to its usual daydreaming.
