CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Yungoos roams paths from morning to evening in search of food. Its long body houses a very large stomach, and it accepts a wide variety of meals, preferring fresh prey. At nightfall, it falls asleep wherever it is, exhausted by its search. The Pokédex also recounts that it was introduced to Alola from another region long ago. Its appetite explains both its constant movement and the attention a Trainer must give it.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Sun presents Yungoos as a species introduced to Alola from another region. Pokémon Moon shows it searching for food all day before collapsing from exhaustion. Ultra Sun emphasizes the considerable space taken up by its stomach.
