CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Pokémon Reversal flips a coin. On heads, you choose an opposing Benched Pokémon to switch with one of their Defending Pokémon; your opponent chooses which Defender is replaced. The effect divides decisions between players rather than letting you alone determine both cards involved in the movement on the opposing field.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The choice of incoming Benched Pokémon is yours, while the choice of Defending Pokémon to replace belongs to your opponent. These separate decisions remain in the wording, especially when multiple eligible Defenders exist.
