CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Mime Jr. observes others' gestures and tries to reproduce them. It particularly admires skilled dancing Mr. Rime, treating them as masters and copying their steps. In Hisui's busy markets, it also imitates people it encounters. It then watches their reactions with sparkling eyes. Learning by imitation thus becomes both training and a way of forming connections.

A detail worth noticing

Legends: Arceus sometimes places Mime Jr. in busy markets, watching reactions after imitating someone. Shield describes more focused imitation: carefully copying the movements of a Mr. Rime selected for its dancing talent.
