CARDEX BACKGROUND
Thwackey keeps rhythm with two sticks. Among its kind, the speed and skill of this percussion earn it respect. In battle, music occupies it so completely that it may keep beating time after already incapacitating its opponent. The Pokédex therefore does not separate its playing from the rest of its life: the same action determines its place in the group and accompanies its fights. Its enthusiasm can even outlast the battle itself.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Sword connects the regard given to Thwackey with the speed of its rhythms using two sticks. Pokémon Shield gives an example of its absorption: it may fail to notice that it has already defeated its opponent and keep playing.
