CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Nuzleaf inhabits dense forests and shelters in the hollows of large trees. The leaf growing on its head becomes a flute when it blows into it. Its strange whistling unsettles lost travelers and can drive an opponent back. It sometimes even leaves the forest to frighten people. Yet it hates having its large nose touched, a sensitivity that contrasts with its fondness for pranks.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Alpha Sapphire notes that Nuzleaf uses its own leaf as a flute whose sound troubles people who are lost. Pokémon Omega Ruby adds that it dislikes having its nose pinched. The woodland prankster therefore has a very concrete weakness.
