CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Energy Search chooses a basic Energy in your deck and puts it into your hand after showing it to the opponent. The deck is shuffled at the end of the operation. This card lets you select a specific resource rather than hope to draw it, but performs no attachment. The Pokémon that might receive it therefore still needs preparation through another action.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The found Energy must be shown to the opponent, who thus knows the resource added to your hand. This Energy Search printing requires a basic Energy: the choice does not freely extend to Special Energy cards.
