CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Regirock is formed entirely of rock. When part of its body breaks in battle, it searches for other stones and attaches them to repair itself. The blocks composing it come from very different places, according to a study reported by the Pokédex. Humans are said to have isolated it long ago. Despite modern examinations of its body, nobody has discovered a brain or heart inside. Its way of living therefore remains difficult to explain through material clues alone.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Alpha Sapphire reports that the rocks in Regirock’s body come from widely differing locations. Pokémon Shield adds that no brain or heart has been found, even with modern techniques. Its repair by adding stones therefore does not fully explain how it functions.
