CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Lapras crosses the sea with a gentleness that stands out in its Pokédex descriptions. Intelligent and attentive to human speech, it can carry people on its back. Its song accompanies its journeys across the surface. In this meeting of travel and trust, the great sea Pokémon becomes more than a distant shape offshore: it offers passage over the water to those who ride with it.

A detail worth noticing

Lapras sm11-36's Mermaid's Call Ability returns a Misty's Favor from the discard pile once during the turn before attacking. Surf then deals 90 damage for two Water Energy and one Colorless. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this card: recovering the Trainer card does not replace the attack.
