CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Hanging from a branch by the top of its head, Seedot resembles an ordinary acorn. It uses this position to absorb moisture from the tree, then surprises Pokémon that mistake it for food by suddenly moving. Stillness is only part of its game: camouflage sets up a small interruption to the forest's tranquility.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
On Seedot xy11-9, its attack flips a coin to try to avoid a Knock Out during the opponent's next turn: on heads, if an attack would Knock it Out, it remains at 10 HP. sui illustrated this printing. Protection concerns that specific future damage; the attack states no immediate damage.
