CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
For Bulbasaur, growing up is an adventure for two. The seed it carries from birth develops alongside it. When it dozes in the sun, this plant reserve benefits from the light too. Its back thus tells a story of shared growth: the small Pokémon moves through life with a plant that accompanies it long before becoming a flower.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
Bulbasaur me01-133's Bind Down deals 10 damage for one Grass Energy. It also prevents the Defending Pokémon from retreating during the opponent's next turn. mashu illustrated this printing: the small printed number does not summarize the effect, because it also holds the target in the Active Spot.
