CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Professor's Research featuring Professor Oak discards your hand before drawing seven cards. The Supporter completely refreshes your held resources without allowing a selection from the old hand to be kept. Drawing brings the next cards from the deck rather than individually chosen cards. Resources given up stay in the discard pile and are not shuffled back before the refresh.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
This Professor's Research does not fill the hand to seven: it first discards it, then draws seven cards. The difference concerns what happens to existing resources. No exception allows keeping selected cards from among them.
