The Pokémon’s story

Tepig makes its nose a source of fire as useful in battle as at mealtime. It can launch balls of flame while dodging, then use this heat to roast Berries. Its enthusiasm sometimes gets the better of it: too impatient, it burns them to a crisp. The same energy that makes it lively requires some restraint when it comes to eating.

Tepig mep-050 has Ember for 40 damage with two Fire Energy. No recoil, coin flip, or Burned effect is recorded for that attack. Saboteri illustrated the printing. This number belongs to that precise reference: the name evokes fire but does not by itself create a Special Condition.
