CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Boss's Orders featuring Giovanni switches a Pokémon from the opponent's Bench with their Active Pokémon. This support thus changes the fighter facing your team without affecting your own Pokémon's positions. The chosen target was already in play on the opposing Bench. The effect mentions no type condition, Basic Pokémon restriction, or prior coin flip.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Giovanni's appearance adds no restriction to this Boss's Orders text. The movement can target an eligible opposing Benched Pokémon without requiring Team Rocket affiliation. No Pokémon enters the discard pile through this switch.
