CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

At night, Meowth makes the streets its hunting ground for treasures. A dropped coin or a small shiny object is enough to catch its attention. It gathers these finds with a collector's enthusiasm, building a treasure trove of its own. When it is in a good mood, it may even show its stash to its Trainer: privileged access to what matters to it.

A detail worth noticing

Meowth base2-56 deals 10 damage with its only attack and two Colorless Energy. A flip may give its player an extra card in hand, but only on heads; damage does not depend on that chance. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this printing, where the hit and drawing follow separate rules.
