CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Paldean Student searches for a Pokémon without a Rule Box, reveals it, and adds it to your hand. Each other Paldean Student already in the discard pile can allow an additional search of the same kind. This support therefore develops as copies are used or discarded, but the restriction stays identical for every target. Pokémon with Rule Boxes do not become eligible when the number of searches increases.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The Paldean Student currently being used does not count among those granting additional searches. The text explicitly excludes it. Only other cards of this name in your discard pile increase the number of searchable Pokémon.

Printed card effect
