CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Krookodile spots prey far away in the desert, then approaches by moving beneath the sand. Its jaws can crush tough materials, but it does not always rush straight in: it can remain buried for several days, waiting for the right moment. Sandstorms raised by Flygon also provide cover. The Pokédex links its reputation as the bully of the sands to a combination of brute strength and a hunter's patience.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Sun credits Krookodile with the ability to spot prey fifty kilometers away. Pokémon Shield says it can wait in the sand for several days. Its fierce reputation therefore rests as much on observation and patience as on the power of its jaws.
