CARDEX BACKGROUND
Dratini long belonged to stories people believed without being able to verify them. The Pokédex relates that its capture by a fisherman confirmed its existence. Near fast-flowing water and the foot of waterfalls, it grows by shedding its skin several times. The legendary Pokémon then becomes a living being, occupied with the ordinary transformations of growing up.
This account describes the species in the video games. It does not describe its Trainer’s history or that of this copy, and does not identify the depicted form or sex.The little bump on Dratini’s forehead is more than a simple contour of its head. Pokémon Shield explains that it is a horn still forming. This discreet detail reveals ongoing development within its smooth silhouette.
Quoted source text is retained in the card’s printed language so this exact printing can be identified. The CarDex background above is translated into English.
