CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Litten takes its time before granting trust. Solitary and undemonstrative, it spends spare moments grooming its coat with its tongue. The swallowed fur then accumulates in its stomach and fuels its fire attacks. This quiet ritual has a second purpose: caring for its appearance also prepares the power it may release later.

A detail worth noticing

Litten mep-044's Fire Fang costs two Fire Energy and deals 20 damage. The opponent's Active Pokémon also becomes Burned without a preceding coin flip. Saboteri illustrated this printing: immediate damage and the Special Condition come from the same hit, so the attack's name does describe its effect.
