CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

In its Incarnate Forme, Enamorus crosses the sea to Hisui as the harsh winter ends. A legend associates its love with the emergence of new life. Its Therian Forme presents a sterner face: it descends from the clouds to punish without mercy those who treat life with disrespect. The same Pokémon thus brings together two contrasting stories, one about spring's return and the other about punishing those who mistreat living beings.

This account compares the species’ forms; it does not identify the form or sex depicted on your copy.

A detail worth noticing

The punishment described for Enamorus's Therian Forme targets those who disrespect life in any form. This behavior differs from the springtime story associated with its Incarnate Forme, whose arrival accompanies the end of winter.
