CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Ruffian discards a Pokémon Tool and a Special Energy attached to one of the opponent's Pokémon. Both targeted resources therefore come from the same chosen holder. The Supporter can weaken its equipment and Energy preparation without moving the Pokémon itself. It does not offer to select a Tool on one target and a Special Energy on another.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Ruffian links both removals to one opposing Pokémon. The effect mentions a Tool and a Special Energy, not every card attached to that holder. Basic Energy cannot replace the Special Energy specified by the text.
